Sheriff Brian Schenck says a Cayuga County man was arrested on felony DWI charges after an investigation into a one-vehicle crash on Ferris Road in Ira.
It happened February 18th around 9:12 p.m.
While investigating the accident, Zachary Forshee, of Cato, who was not involved in the accident pulled up to the scene.
Deputies interview Forshee about the accident and he was advised to stay at the scene. He left driving northbound onto Farnam Road.
A traffic stop ensued and Forshee was charged with felony DWI, felony AUO, and other violations.
After being processed he was released to appear in local court at a later date.
