Auburn Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo says there’s been an uptick in fights at the city’s middle school.
He recently spoke with Finger Lakes News Radio about the uptick and what teachers have seen.
“We’ve seen a lot of aggression and fighting,” he said. “And kids actually recording and sharing the videos of these fights.”
Pirozzolo went on to note that it’s almost like the fights have been setup ahead of time.
Despite all of that, the superintendent says the presence of school resource officers throughout the district has had a positive impact.
