On February 14th troopers from Painted Post received a report of a man in distress on Interstate 86 in the town of Corning.
Upon arrival, troopers found Shawn R. Neff, a 40-year-old man, sitting on a guardrail.
During the course of the investigation, Neff was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, leading to his arrest for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, which is classified as a Class A Misdemeanor.
The authorities transported Neff to SP Painted Post for processing and issued him an appearance ticket returnable to the Corning Town Court on March 16, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.
