The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the threat of freezing or mixed precipitation through the morning.
Wayne, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Wyoming, Livingston,
and Ontario counties are included in the advisory, which expires around 10 a.m.
While ice accumulation is not expected to be that significant, it will be enough to pose some challenges on area roadways. Espeically those that are not treated as well as primary roads.
The New York State Thruway cooridor between Buffalo and Syracuse stands to have the biggest impact.
