Sabres drop fourth straight, fall to Kings 5-2

The Buffalo Sabres opened a three-game West Coast road trip on Monday night against the Los Angeles Kings and dropped their fourth straight game with a 5-2 loss.


The difference in this game was special teams. Buffalo’s power play went 1-for-5, while the penalty kill went 1-for-3.

Both Sabres’ goals came in the final 10 minutes of the third period. Dylan Cozens netted his 18th goal of the season, and Peyton Krebs scored his seventh. Craig Anderson stopped 23-of-28 shots.

The Sabres will try to snap their skid on Wednesday when they take on the Anaheim Ducks at 10 p.m.
