On Monday during the early-morning hours first responders were called to a serious crash on the New York State Thruway in Tyre.
Clyde Fire Department, Junius Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance responded to the scene finding one vehicle with heavy damage under the Whiskey Hill Road bridge.
The driver was not immediately found and additional crews were called to assist with a search.
The vehicle was ultimately towed from the scene, but no additional information was available about the driver.
