Coreen Lowry to be honored by Seneca County Women’s Coalition

Coreen Lowry will finally be honored as the 2020 Woman of the Year by the Seneca County Women’s Coalition. A resident of Fayette, married to Brian Lowry, Coreen was a stay-at-home mom whose two children Calista and Chance are now grown and off on their own; additionally Coreen is now grandma to three grandchildren.

Lowry is an involved volunteer within all aspects of her life. Coreen is past president of the Waterloo Rotary and a two-time Paul Harris Fellow recipient; she founded the Little Free Libraries; coordinates many projects for Rotary; she also served several years and is current president of the Waterloo Library and Historical Society; a Vice President of the Waterloo School Board, Town Councilwoman for the Town of Fayette Town Board; assists weekly with the Trevor’s Gift Backpack Program; chairs the Seneca County Community Christmas Project Committee among other volunteer stints too numerous to mention. Lastly though her children have grown, she continues to have an open-door policy to all the kids in the neighborhood. Coreen is indeed worthy of the title of Woman of the Year.


The grilled salmon, chicken parmesan and pasta primavera dinner honoring Lowry will be held at 7pm Saturday, March 25th at the Seneca Falls Country Club on Route 89 in Seneca Falls. The cost is $35 per person; reservations should be made by Friday, March 17th by calling Adriene Emmo at 315.521.3461.
