First responders were called to another structure fire late-Friday afternoon capping off a 36 hour run that saw several major fires.
Scipio, Poplar Ridge, LongHill, West Niles, New Hope, Sempronius, Throop, McLean, Owasco, Moravia, King Ferry, Genoa, Fleming, Aurora Fire, Aurelius RIT and Southern Cayuga Ambulance all responded to Cork Street near Mosher Road for a barn fire.

When first responders arrived they weren’t just battling a large barn fire. They were also battling bitter cold temperatures.
Cayuga-Seneca Fire Wire reported that temperatures were so cold that firefighters were forced to take extra steps to keep equipment working.
Photos from the scene showed that the barn was destroyed.
No additional information was immediately available.
