State police arrested a Waterloo man for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop.
The traffic stop happened on Waterloo Geneva Road on February 1st, police said.
A person inside the vehicle was observed throwing garbage from it.
The driver, who was found to be intoxicated, according to troopers, was identified as Jake Ezell, 32, of Waterloo.
He was charged with DWI and issued traffic tickets.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
