Deputies say one person was arrested on a drug charge after a traffic stop around 8 p.m. on January 28th.
According to a news release, the traffic stop happened on State Route 96A and County Road 132A when they spotted a vehicle that didn’t have proper lights.
A roadside investigation led to the seizure of a small amount of cocaine.
The driver, identified as Robert Prentice, 40, of Ovid, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
