Police in the Town of Seneca Falls arrested a 53-year-old man on Tuesday after he tried to resist arrest on an unrelated matter.
Woodrow Edwards, of Seneca Falls, was contacted by police for an unrelated matter when it was discovered that he had a pending bench warrant from another law enforcement agency. When police attempted to take Edwards into custody, he tried to prevent them from doing so.
Edwards was charged with obstruction and was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment in the Seneca County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
