Police have provided an update on the crash that left two vehicles damaged, another totaled, and one person – the operator – missing.
It happened around midnight Sunday, January 22nd on East Genesee Street, according to police.
Joel E. Rusin, 21, was the driver of the BMW involved in the crash. Rusin’s BMW struck a Chevy Silverado, flipping it on its side, and a Subaru Legacy that was also damaged.
He fled the scene and was eventually taken into custody and received treatment at an area hospital.
No charges have been filed yet. However, police are awaiting toxicology reports from the night of the crash.
