Keith Batman has resigned from his role on the Cayuga County Board of Health.
He’s served as the president of the committee since 2021.
However, after taking on the role of Democratic Election Commissioner in Cayuga County he needed to resign from the front-facing job.
State law prevents commissioners from holding public office.
