Good news for fans of breweries in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier: Upstate Brewing Company is expanding.
The Elmira-based brewery will open a second location, this one in Watkins Glen, in a matter of weeks.
“I’ve been looking to expand the last couple of years. Watkins Glen just seemed like the right location and we found an amazing spot, right in the heart of downtown. It was just too good to pass up,” Upstate Brewing Company President Mark Neumann told WENY-TV.
The new location at 17 North Franklin Street is expected to open on Friday, February 10th. It will feature a taproom and be slightly larger than the Elmira location.
