State holding public forums for customers on RG&E, NYSEG service issues: How can you participate?

The New York State Department of Public Service (DPS) is hosting multiple public forums for customers of RG&E and NYSEG to provide comments on service quality issues.

These issues include billing, customer service, and meter reading problems that customers have experienced.


The forums will be held in various locations across the state, including virtual forums on January 31st, an in-person forum in Somers on February 1st, a forum in Rochester on February 7th and in Binghamton on February 8th.

Customers who wish to provide comments at these forums must pre-register by 12:00 p.m. on January 30th and can do so on the meetings’ website or by phone at 1-800-342-3330.
