The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team bounced back with an 80-63 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon at McCamish Pavilion arena. With the win, the Orange improved to (13-7, 6-3) on the season.
Syracuse got off to another slow start and trailed by double digits halfway through the first half, but went on a 17-0 run to grab the lead and never looked back.
Four players finished in double figures for the Orange. Joe Girard knocked down six three-pointers and led the way with a game-high 28 points. Maliq Brown notched a career-high 18 points. Jesse Edwards poured in 14 points, while Judah Mintz added 13.
