The Buffalo Sabres picked up their second-straight home victory as they defeated the Anaheim Ducks, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon at KeyBank Center. With the win, Buffalo improved to 23-19-2 on the season.
The Sabres played pretty well for the most part but were sloppy in the second period, which allowed Anaheim to score all three of their goals. Buffalo netted three goals in the final period to pull away.
Peyton Krebs and Victor Olofsson led the way with two goals each. Dylan Cozens and Jeff Skinner also found the back of the net, while Ilya Lybushkin notched his first three-assist game.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen struggled between the pipes but still made 34 saves.
The Sabres will begin a tough road trip on Monday when they take on the Dallas Stars at 8:30 p.m.
