A Wayne County man has been convicted of robbing a convenience store last year and now faces a significant prison term.
Terry Lawrence Jr., 31, was found guilty of first-degree robbery by a jury on January 12th, according to prosecutors in Wayne County.
According to the DA’s Office Lawrence used a knife to threaten a cashier at the Kwik Fill in Lyons in April. He then stole approximately $400 and two cartons of cigarettes before being arrested by state police a few days later.
Sentencing has been scheduled for March 16th.
