That was a brutal loss for the Buffalo Sabres.
Buffalo fell to the Chicago Blackhawks, 4-3, in overtime on Tuesday night at the United Center after blowing a two-goal lead. With the loss, Buffalo dropped to 21-19-3 on the season.
The Sabres led 3-1 after two periods of play, but Chicago scored three unanswered goals, including the game-winner two minutes into overtime.
Tage Thompson, Victor Olofsson, and Peyton Krebs scored in the loss. Craig Anderson stopped 22-of-26 shots.
The Sabres will return home to face the New York Islanders on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
