Sabres fall to Panthers, 4-1

The Buffalo Sabres (21-19-2) fell to the Florida Panthers (21-20-4), 4-1, at KeyBank Center on Monday afternoon in what was another lousy game.

Buffalo lacked energy yet again and was sloppy from the opening faceoff. The Sabres were in the game until the final few minutes, but it never really felt that way as they struggled to generate quality scoring chances and could not capitalize on the power play.

Alex Tuch scored the lone goal in the third period, his 21st of the season, setting a new career high. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 30 saves but did not get much help in front of him.
