Deputies say a Cortland man was arrested after an investigation into an assault and robbery that happened at a Tyre business.
Carl Clemons, 35, of Cortland is accused of assaulting a person inside an unidentified business, and stealing a large sum of money from him.
He’s been charged with two counts of grand larceny and robbery, all of which are felonies. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of menacing, criminal mischief, and harassment.
Clemons was released and will answer the charges at a later date.
