The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (11-6) bounced back with an 82-72 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies (11-6) on Wednesday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Syracuse held a 43-37 lead at halftime but pulled away in the second half behind a balanced scoring attack.
Joe Girard led five in double figures with 24 points. Jesse Edwards netted 13 points, Judah Mintz poured in 12 points, and Justin Taylor added 10. Maliq Brown notched a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
