Buffalo Bills running back and kick returner Nyheim Hines has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the New England Patriots this past Sunday.
Hines took the opening kickoff 96 yards to the house and later returned another for 101 yards.
The 26-year-old became the first player since 2010 to return two kickoffs for a touchdown in a single game.
This is the second time Hines has earned a player of the week (2019). It’s also the second time the Bills special teams unit was recognized in 2022. Tyler Bass was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month back in November.
