A Steuben County man has been convicted of rape.
Nathaniel Tigner, 30, of Hornell was convicted of raping a child under the age of 17.
The District Attorney’s Office said the attack took place in May 2020.
Tigner was sentenced to two years in prison for the third-degree rape charge, as well as eight years of post-release supervision.
He will also have to register as a sex offender.
