On Monday, January 9th State Troopers from the Auburn barracks arrested 40-year-old Brad R. Vargason of Auburn on several charges following a traffic stop.

The arrest was made after Troopers observed Vargason’s vehicle running through a red light on State Street in the city of Auburn.

During the traffic stop, Troopers determined that Vargason was under the influence of alcohol and attempted to place him under arrest.

However, Vargason resisted arrest and obstructed the Troopers’ efforts to take him into custody. He was charged with DWI, resisting arrest, obstruction, and multiple traffic violations.

Vargason was transported to the State Police barracks for processing and then remitted to City of Auburn police department.
