Seneca County Grand Jury indicts three inmates at Five Points on felony assault charges after fight last winter

New York State Police and the Seneca County District Attorney’s Office say three inmates at Five Points Correctional Facility have been indicted on assault charges after an incident last winter.

The incident occurred on January 31st, 2022, according to a news release. While in the mess hall, multiple inmates initiated a physical fight with corrections officers.

The incident was presented to a Seneca County Grand Jury resulting in felony assault charges.


On January 6th Jayvon Mulzac, 41, Ernastiaze Moore, 22, and Darrin Jones, 24, were all charged with second-degree assault.

The charge is a Class D felony.

They were arraigned in Seneca County Court and will appear in court at a later date.
