Sabres’ Tage Thompson named to NHL All-Star Game

The NHL announced Thursday night that Buffalo Sabres forward Tage Thompson has been named to the Atlantic Division roster for the 2023 NHL All-Star Game that will take place on Saturday, February 4, at FLA Live Arena in Sun Rise, Florida.

The announcement marks the first All-Star Game selection for Thompson.

Thompson ranks second in the NHL with 30 goals, three behind Edmonton’s Connor McDavid for the league lead. His 55 points are tied with Dallas’ Jason Robertson for third in the league.

Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, who leads Eastern Conference defensemen in points and ice time, still has a chance to be selected to the team as part of the NHL All-Star Fan Vote.
