Domestic incident at Tops leads to robbery, harassment, and obstruction charges

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, state troopers from the Williamson barracks were called to the Tops store in Ontario, New York to investigate a disturbance.

Upon arriving at the scene, they arrested 30-year-old Christopher Kowalski, a resident of Ontario, for robbery in the third degree, harassment in the second degree, and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.


According to the police report, Mr. Kowalski is accused of committing robbery, threatening or physically harassing another person, and hindering the work of government officials.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
