The New York Yankees have agreed to a non-roster deal with left-handed hitting outfielder Willie Calhoun, according to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand. The deal includes an invitation to spring training.
Calhoun was a former top prospect for the Texas Rangers. He hit 21 home runs and posted a .848 OPS in 82 games with the Rangers in 2019 but has struggled since.
The 28-year-old will try to earn a spot on the Yankees’ 26-man roster this spring
