Cayuga County, Macedon, Seneca Falls, Union Springs, Sterling, and Fair Haven among waterfront grant winners

Several communities across the region will see state funding for waterfront projects in 2023.

The town of Macedon will receive $150,000 for enhancements to Gravino Park.

The town of Seneca Falls will see $59,000 to develop a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program.

Cayuga County and the village of Union Springs will get $63,000 to install an ADA compliant kayak launch at Frontenac Park.

Cayuga County will also be collaborating with Sterling and Fair Haven on a feasibility study for a trail along the west side of Little Sodus Bay. That will be $104,000.

The goal of the funding is to help waterfront development across New York.
