There’s good news for a Perinton company that wants to redevelop the former Ames plaza along State Route 31 in Macedon.

The former Ames store inside the West Wayne Plaza on Route 31 will see a major facelift thanks to the development.

The IDA also approved a 10-year PILOT package worth $1.2 million.

The property is currently assessed for $625,000 and will be worth $3.9 million once the renovation is complete.

Local response to the project has been positive, officials noted.
