Canandaigua man accused of choking person during dispute

Police arrested a 54-year-old Canandaigua man following a domestic incident on Chapin Street.

Police say that on December 7th around 12:30 p.m. officers arrested Robert Dixon-Donahue, age 54, of Canandaigua for strangulation.


He’s accused of putting his hands around the neck of another person and choking them. The victim in this case lost consciousness.

Dixon-Donahue was transported to the Ontario County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
