State police have arrested a 33-year-old Newark man following a shooting that happened earlier in the month.
Allen Juitt, age 33, was charged with a felony count of reckless endangerment and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.
The weapon from the shooting, which apparently took place on Maple Street in Newark on December 6th has not yet been recovered.
Troopers indicated that Juitt was not cooperating with investigators. He has a prior felony conviction on a drug charge from 2009.
Additional charges are being presented to a Grand Jury in Wayne County as the investigation continues.
Investigators found two spent casings at the scene on Maple Street when the shooting occurred. There were an array of interviews conducted after, as well, which led to Juitt’s arrest.
