The NFL announced Wednesday that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Miami Dolphins.
Allen completed 25-of-40 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns. He led the Bills’ offense on a 15-play, 86-yard drive to set up Tyler Bass for the game-winning 25-yard field goal. Allen also had 10 carries for 77 yards, including a season-long 44-yard run on the team’s game-tying touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.
Allen tied Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino for the most total touchdowns in a player’s first five seasons with 171.
This is the 10th AFC Offensive Player of the Week honor for Allen in his career and his third this season.
