The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team capped off a four-game homestand on Tuesday morning with an 87-64 victory over UAlbany in front of the largest home crowd of the season (7,311) for School Day.
With the victory, Syracuse improves to 10-2 on the season and 9-0 at home for the first time since 2020.
The Orange trailed by two at the half but outscored the Great Danes, 55-30, in the last 20 minutes of the game.
Dyaisha Fair led the Orange with 26 points, one shy of her season-high. Asia Strong (18), Teisha Hyman (14), and Georgia Woolley (12) completed the Syracuse performers that finished the day in double figures.
