For the second straight week, Syracuse guard Judah Mintz was named ACC Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Mintz helped Syracuse extend its winning streak to five games last week while averaging 19.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game in home victories over Monmouth and Cornell.
The freshman scored a career-high 24 points against Monmouth and added five assists and four steals. Mintz followed it up with a 14-point effort against Cornell to go along with four assists and three steals.
Mintz is averaging 14.9 points per game this season, which ties him for second on the team with Joe Girard.
