Elon Musk created a poll and says he will step down from his CEO role if the votes support it

Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, users have had a lot to complain about and Musk has noticed.

In response, he created a poll on Sunday night asking people “Yes” or “No” to him stepping down as the CEO of Twitter. According to CNN, the responses were overwhelmingly yes by 58% Sunday night. Today the votes were 57% yes.

Despite him tweeting this, he started making other vague tweets including being careful about what you wish for.

Since taking over as CEO of Twitter, many people are unhappy with some of his decisions. He’s laid off many of the top executives for the company in addition to cutting the staffing in half. Remaining staff were given the option of doing incredible amounts of work or leaving, resulting in another 1,000 leaving.

Employees that have not agreed with his moves have been fired and he’s publicly shamed former employees. The public has grown frustrated after Musk has changed the verification process numerous times as well as charging people money for it. Musk has also changed the rules without notice multiple times, resulting in people being suspended unknowingly.

Major brands have pulled out of Twitter and no longer advertise on the platform. Because of this, finances with the company aren’t doing well according to Musk.
