The Buffalo Bills activated guard Ike Boettger off the Reserve/PUP list and added him to the 53-man roster, the team announced Monday.
Boettger has not appeared in a game since Week 16 of last season after suffering an Achilles injury. He will be eligible to play in Buffalo’s Christmas Eve game against the Chicago Bears.
The Bills had to clear a spot for Boettger on the 53-man roster, so defensive tackle Brandin Bryant was released.
Boettger played in 17 games for Buffalo during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
