Police responded to the 400 block of Spencer Road on December 16th around 11:20 p.m. for a home invasion that sent one to the hospital.
According to a news release, four or five black males entered an apartment building, wearing Halloween style masks, armed with guns.
Witnesses say the suspects entered a residence and held a 10- and 13-year-old at gunpoint. The other males went directly to the victim’s upstairs bedroom and assaulted them.
The suspects had at least two handguns and one male potentially had a long-gun.
The victim was treated at a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This case remains under investigation.
Police ask that anyone in the area with surveillance systems to contact them as it may help with the investigation.
