The Geneva Police Department is seeking the public’s help after a shooting yesterday afternoon in the city.
Police said in a release that the shooting occurred a little before 1 p.m. in the area of Gates Avenue and North Genesee Street.
The victim was not identified, but said to be 28-years-old. He was shot in the leg while crossing the street.
He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition as of late-afternoon.
Police canvassed the area and didn’t report hearing or seeing anything unusual. Police are asking anyone with information to contact (315) 789-1111.
