No investigation is being called for investigation into Attorney General’s former chief of staff

Carl Heastie, New York State Assembly Speaker, is not calling for an investigation into the Attorney General’s probe.

Recently it was shared that Attorney General Letitia James had launched an investigation into her top aide, Ibrahim Khan over sexual harassment allegations. These included inappropriate touching and unwanted kissing.

While James is considering a criminal referral, the Attorney General’s Office is seeing pushback over their concealment of the investigation until after the elections in November.

Khan had been accused of forcibly kissing one woman in 2014 when he was working for James.

Heastie stated that he doesn’t see a need for an investigation after the original investigation happened and there was a finding.
