The Syracuse football team received some tough news on Thursday.
Defensive coordinator Tony White is leaving Syracuse for the same job at Nebraska, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
White spent three seasons with Syracuse, installing the 3-3-5 defensive scheme and transforming the Orange defense into one of the best in the ACC.
The 43-year-old had multiple other offers on the table but chose Nebraska.
