Deputies say a Williamson woman was taken into custody for DWI after a hit-and-run accident on December 7th around 6:30 p.m.
According to a news release, deputies arrested Christine Goodwin, age 59, of Williamson for DWI, leaving the scene of a crash, and other violations following an accident.
It’s alleged that Goodwin went into the opposite lane, striking another vehicle – then left the area.
Deputies apprehended her further down the road, where a roadside investigation was conducted.
Her BAC was determined to be 0.17%.
Goodwin was processed and will answer the charges at a later date.
