Driver ticketed after causing two-car crash at busy intersection along Rt. 104 that sends one to hospital

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says one person was sent to the hospital after a two-car crash on Route 104 at Lincon Road around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.

Keyshawn Brown, age 22, of Rochester was traveling west on Route 104 in Ontario approaching the intersection where a red signal was displayed.

Ricardo Lewis, age 36, of Rochester was stopped at the light facing west.

Deputies say Brown failed to provide sufficient space for the vehicle to turn, resulting in a crash.

The two vehicles came to rest facing opposite directions in the westbound lane, according to deputies.

Lewis was transported to Rochester General Hospital for treatment.

Deputies were assisted by the Ontario Fire Department, Ontario Volunteer Emergency Services, and Macedon Ambulance.
