Bills’ Von Miller undergoes season-ending surgery to repair torn ACL

The Buffalo Bills have lost a major part of their defense.

Star pass-rusher Von Miller will miss the remainder of the 2022 season after exploratory surgery revealed he had a torn ACL, head coach Sean McDermott announced Wednesday.

Miller was placed on injured reserve last week, but the team hoped he could return before the regular season ended after an MRI showed no significant damage.

The 33-year-old finishes with eight sacks, 21 tackles, and 10 tackles for loss in his first season with Buffalo.
