Four Canandaigua breweries are competing to see who created the best decorated pyramid of kegs during an event Saturday evening. Twisted Rail Brewing Company, Young Lion Brewing Company, Frequentem Brewing Company and Peacemaker Brewing Company are hosting a keg-tree lighting and pub crawl.
“We had this idea of making a keg tree during Covid when things were slow,” Cody Griffith of Young Lion said. “This year we had the idea of connecting the breweries within the city, to draw some business to us and other small businesses.”

“If you stop at each location you get a stamp, and if you keep your little card that says, ‘I got lit in Canandaigua,’ you get 10% off at any of the locations,” Ian Boni of Twisted Rail said. “We’re gonna be handing out a free half-off drink tickets to incentivize people to come back and visit us again.”

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Twisted Rail, 169 Lakeshore Dr, Canandaigua.
