The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 23-year-old Ithaca resident following a vehicle theft in Dryden.
Mason Thomas, age 23, of Ithaca was charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Thomas is accused of stealing a vehicle from a driveway on Dryden Road while it was idling to warm up on November 21st.
The car was found later that day in a parking lot near North Triphammer Road.
Thomas was arrested on November 29th and arraigned. He will face charges related to other crimes as New York State Police investigate also.
