Firefighters say a home on Shekell Road in Hopewell was a total loss after a late-afternoon structure fire.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday firefighters from several departments were called to a home on Shekell Road.
Upon arrival the structure was found to be fully-involved. A defensive firefight was performed, and tanker task force requested.
However, those efforts were not enough to save it.
The fire remains under investigation, but all occupants made it out safely.
