Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his Thanksgiving performance against the Detroit Lions, the NFL announced Wednesday.
This comes a week after linebacker Matt Milano earned the weekly award.
Oliver recorded a sack in the end zone for a safety, forced a fumble, and recovered it, as well as six tackles, two for loss. He is one of only four players in the last 10 seasons to record that stat line, joining Khalil Mack (2020), Justin Houston (2019), and Cameron Wake (2013).
The Bills, winners of two straight, will take on the New England Patriots on Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.
