FLX Today: Giving Tuesday spotlight on Montezuma Audubon Center (video)

  • Staff Report

It’s Giving Tuesday and on this edition of Finger Lakes Today one of the region’s most important natural habitats was under the spotlight. The Montezuma Audubon Center in Savannah, Wayne County gives back to the community through youth education programs at the Center and across the Montezuma Wetlands Complex. That effort, led by Center Director Chris Lajewski and his team, costs money. This time of year, folks at the Center engage with the community to find ways to give. Lajewski was in-studio discussing what species are being seen right now at Montezuma, as well as the work done all year to educate, advocate, and maintain the sprawling wetlands complex that sits between Cayuga, Seneca, and Wayne counties.
